About Us

Bootstrap America is a charitable organization exempt from Federal Income Tax under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS tax code.  Contributions are deductible under section 170 of the Code.  Bootstrap America is an Arizona Nonprofit Corporation.

Board of Directors

Bootstrap America is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors.  Each member of the Board brings unique business and nonprofit skills to the organization.  

Randy Jackson, President

Mr. Jackson is an Information Technology executive currently serving as Chief Information Officer (CIO) of a major city government in Arizona.  He has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and a Master's Degree in Public Administration.  He is an alumni of Leadership West* and serves on its Board of Directors.

Mrs. Kok has thirty years of banking experience and currently serves as a Bank Manager.  Mrs. Kok is experienced in nonprofit board leadership and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Interfaith Community Care*.  She is an alumni of Leadership West* and also serves on its Board of Directors.

Mrs. Jackson is a small business owner and an experienced consultant specializing in small business and medical practice startup and operations.  Her expertise is in the areas of organizational development, effective management and cost-efficient operations.

Jesse Loredo, Member

Mr. Loredo is the pastor of Neighborhood Bible Church in Surprise, AZ and is a community and church activist in our target communities of El Mirage and the Original Townsite in Surprise.  He brings a passion for serving the poor and the faith community.

Gloria Ramos, Member

Mrs. Ramos is a church leader in our target communities.  She works in Administration at Arizona Charter Academy and brings a knowledge of accounting and business management to her service on the Board.
