Bootstrap America Grants First Micro-loan for Business Development

Surprise, AZ, September 15, 2008 — Bootstrap America has awarded its first business development loan to Arturo Constantini of El Mirage, AZ.  Mr. Constantini is using the $1,000 loan to start Constantini Construction Company, a general handyman service serving the cities of Surprise and El Mirage.  He has extensive experience in the construction industry and, in his partnership with Bootstrap America, has created a business plan and agrees to meet regularly with his Bootstrap America business mentor and his community mentor. 

Bootstrap America is pleased to be able to support Mr. Constantini in this new business start up and will work closely with him as his business grows.  Our volunteer mentors provide support, encouragement, motivation, resources and accountability to help create a successful entrepreneurs and small businesses. 

Bootstrap America is a charitable, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization offering micro-loans of $1,000 or less to individuals desiring to start or expand a small business in economically disadvantaged communities in the Western Maricopa Enterprise Zone in Maricopa County, Arizona.  Bootstrap America operates solely on donations and is registered as an Arizona charity with Guidestar and the Arizona Secretary of State.
